On Sunday 9th March the Three Peaks Sore Cheeks team completed our first 100 Mile training ride. This is a major milestone in our training however there is still plenty of work to be done. We will have to cover 5 times this distance in 72 hours so it was also a realisation to the enormity of this task. The picture above shows the team at a small Cafe in Upton where we stopped at 60 miles for a bite to eat. The 100 Mile route saw us visit Gloucester, Ross on Wye, Hereford, Worcester, Malvern, Ledbury and more. We continue to train hard throughout the week and train as a team on the weekend. Plans for the challenge are well under way. May we take this opportunity to say thank you to the companies that have supported us through sponsorship. It will mean we can maximise the amount of money to support the care of sick and premature babies at Gloucester Royal Hospital. Please visit our sponsors page to see those who have supported us.
Our focus has now turned to gaining general donations and auction donations for our online auction to be held between 12th-16th May. If you can help in any way please visit our donations page or make contact.
